I am going on holiday and taking with me…

I am writing this first blog entry from the plane as it’s headed towards New York. The captain has just bid us look out the window as we are currently flying over Greenland, and I am afforded a stunning view of pristine white landscape and snow topped mountains, stretching as far as the eye can see. It’s completely surreal and desolate; it must stretch for thousands of kilometres in every direction, and I wonder whether anyone has ever ventured here.
